[*]Any other form of killing requires a 10 second warning or a mug message in chat or if you have a KOS Sign on your property and the player breaks the sign rules(read further). [*]If the player you direct the warning to shows hostile intent (pulling a gun) they can be KOS, be aware that you can be killed for issuing a warning. [/list] You may also kill without warning for the following reason: [list] [*]If you are being stunsticked by a cop etc. [*]If someone mugs you or issues a 10 second warning. [*]If you are being raped. [*]Any other form of assault. [/list] [b][u]Props and entities[/u][/b] [list] [*]Do not spam/place props or entities in other people's bases without their permission. [*]You cannot prop/entity spam, block, climb, surf or any other form of prop/entity minging. [*]Building on the streets is allowed. But if the structure blocks off the road it will be removed. [*]You cannot spawn props in bases while raiding or if you are being raided. [/list] [b][u]Metagaming[/u][/b] [size=100]Your character may not use information beyond their knowledge for example:[/size] [list] [*]Going back to kill a person that killed you previously (Revenge RDM). [*]Wanting/warranting a player after you die. [*]Demoting a player after you die. [*]Switching to a police job to get PD codes then switching back to use them. [/list] [b][size=150][u]RP Relation[/u][/size][/b] [size=100]There are different ways to obtain RP Relation here is how you can obtain RP Relation another player:[/size] [list] [*]If you have your Job Name as "With (Players Name)". [*]If you own the same base (To defend each other you must be in the vicinity of the base). [*]Being in the same Organization. [*]Playing as the same job will obtain RP Relation. [/list] [u][b]Raiding/Mugging/Warnings/Basing Rules/KOS Signs[/b][/u] [size=150][u]Raiding Rules[/u][/size] [list] [*]You cannot return to a raid zone if you die while you are raiding. If you are being raided, you may return to the raid zone and defend. [*]You cannot raid those who have a building sign outside their base. [*]Players are allowed to raid public buildings that hold raidables. [*]After completing a raid, you must leave the area immediately. [*]You cannot raid a base that obviously does not have raidables. [/list] [size=150][u]Mugging Rules[/u][/size] [list] [*]You cannot mug a group of people, but you can warn groups of people. [*]Mugs do not have to be adverted. You can mug people by saying it in chat. [*]All mugs require a 10-second warning, and the max amount you can mug someone is for $1000. If the victim pulls a weapon, runs, or does not comply, you have the right to shoot him/her. [*]If you are being mugged, you have the right to run or defend yourself. [*]If you have been mugged, you can kill the mugger even if you drop money. [/list] [size=150][u]Warnings[/u][/size] [list] [*]You can give players a 10-second warning to leave the area. [*]You can only give a warning if there is a valid reason to. [*]You can kill players that fail to listen to your warning. [*]If the victim complies within 10 seconds, you cannot kill the victim. [*]You cannot raid/mug the same player within 10 minutes. [/list] [u]Basing Rules[/u] [list] [*]There must be an entrance in and out of your base. [*]The entrance and keypads must be clearly visible and easily accessible. [*]If you do not want to be raided or disturbed while building, put a textscreen with the words "Building" around your entrance. [*]Bases should not force the player to crouch or jump to enter. [*]Do not block pathways or roads. [*]A max of 3 fading doors is allowed per base. [*]Fading doors must stay open for at least 4 seconds. [*]Skybases are not permitted. A base qualifies as a skybase if the floor is suspended in mid air, or if players need to use a staircase/ramp to enter. [*]Maze bases are not allowed. You cannot use the invisible material for walls, floors, ceilings. [*]You cannot build in the PD, unless you are the Police Chief, the Mayor, or a Police Officer with [u]permission[/u] from either the Police Chief or Mayor. (Mayor permission always outweighs Chief permission. [/list] [u]KOS/AOS Sign Rules[/u] [size=100]KOS signs are an easy way to stop people going on/in a specific part of your property which is why we allow it. But there are limits on the KOS Sings so we created a KOS Sign whitelist, [b]anything not on the list is an invalid KOS Sign and will be dealt with by staff.[/b][/size] [size=120][b][u]Rules of KOS Signs[/u][/b][/size] [list] [*][size=100]The Sign must be at least size 25 Font.[/size] [*][size=100]The sign must me clear and not the same color as the floor/wall behind it.[/size] [*][size=100]The sign must be on or very near to your property, KOS signs cannot be put in public places.[/size] [/list] [u][b]KOS Signs Whitelist:[/b][/u] [list=1] [*]KOS if past line(must have a clear line). [*]KOS inside. [*]KOS past the door. [*]KOS if stealing etc. [/list] Anything not on the list above is an invalid KOS Sign and will be removed by staff. [u][b]Job Rules[/b][/u] [size=150][u]DJ[/u][/size] [list] [*]You cannot play any form of ear rape through the radio. [*]Do not place a radio in the vicinity of another radio. [*]Do not put your radio into other players bases. [*]Do not play anything that breaks any of the rules above. [/list] [u]Police[/u] [list] [*]In the Police Department, the defenses are to be made by the Police Chief unless given permission by the Police Chief or Mayor. [*]Police must always have a valid reason to want/warrant another player. [*]Police may not place illegal items in a base to be able to warrant them. [*]If a player is wanted always arrest them never kill them unless they show hostile intent (Pulling a gun). If they show hostile intent you are free to kill. [*]If you are past the second door in the PD you can be arrested on site without any warnings. [*]AOS Signs can be placed anywhere in PD except the PD lobby, these can only be placed by police Chief and the Mayor. [*]The mayor can place 1 KOS Sign in the PD, but only the mayor can kill for people crossing it, regular police/police Chief can arrest for it. [*]If you have a gun out in PD you can be KOS by Police. [*]Police may build checkpoints if given permission by the Police Chief. [*]Police can kill/arrest after issuing a 10 second warning. [*]Police may raid with criminals but can be demoted for corruption. [*]Police can bait other players to doing something illegal. [/list] [size=100]Demoting Police:[/size] [list] [*][size=100]You may demote Police if they break any of the laws set by the mayor.[/size] [*]Refusing to enforce laws set by the mayor. [*]Taking bribes from other players [*]If the Police see a crime and ignore it. [*][b]Do not demote for breaking server rules[/b] [/list] [u]Mayor[/u] [list] [*]Do not make laws that go against any server rules. [*]Cannot set laws that overwrite the default laws. [*]The mayor has the right to KOS anyone running towards them with a weapon(Hostile Intent). [/list] Demoting the Mayor: [list] [*]If the mayor breaks any of the laws. [*]Makes any laws that make a specific group of people immune to laws. [*]Taking bribes from other players. [*]If the mayor is to see' a crime and ignores it. [/list]
